Step-by-Step: Depositing ETH from Optimism to Clave

Add Money --> Deposit Crypto --> Deposit crypto from a wallet or exchange
  1. Open the Clave
    Launch the Clave on your mobile device and log into your account.
  2. Tap to Add Money
    Add Money enables you to deposit to Clave by Bank Deposits, Crypto Deposits or Payment Links.
  3. Select Deposit Crypto
    Tap on the Deposit Crypto button to view all supported tokens and chains for cross-chain deposit transfers.
Select ETH --> Optimism --> Copy Deposit Address --> Transfer from other wallets on Optimism
  1. Choose Optimism as the Source Chain
    Scroll through the list of supported networks and select Optimism.
  2. Generate a Deposit Address
    Clave will provide a unique deposit address for your Optimism-to-Clave transfer. Copy this address carefully.
  3. Send ETH from Your Optimism Wallet
    • Open your wallet (e.g., MetaMask) that holds ETH on Optimism.
    • Paste the deposit address generated by Clave.
    • Confirm the transaction details, ensuring accuracy.
  4. Monitor Deposit Status
    • After initiating the transfer, return to the Clave app.
    • Check the Pending Deposits section to monitor the status.
    • You’ll receive a notification as soon as the transaction is confirmed and the funds are available in your Clave wallet.
